Successful journey planning starts with accurate data. We assist our clients to enhance timetable data with precise stop locations and geo-coded routes of transport services with information on days of travel, service alterations, holidays, fares, anomalies and more. Call centre agents use the Trapeze Enquiry Management System to access gazetteers and map data to pinpoint a traveller’s origin and destination. Travel options are then calculated through Trapeze’s own journey planning engine and can be offered to travellers. Our Internet Journey Planner is available using a variety of custom front ends and “skins” and uses the same journey planning engine as the EMS to respond quickly to online journey requests. Various options include personal journey planning, walk and cycle routes, links with hospital appointment systems, links to demand response services and journey information outputs to mobile devices. Trapeze takes raw transport data from multiple sources and uses it to create clear accurate travel information for the public.
