NaPTAN 2.1 Compliance - Trapeze plans compliant toolsSTAVERTON 26 Jan 2007 Trapeze is pleased to announce the award of a contract by the Trapeze PTI User Group (through SWPTI) for the development of all Trapeze PTI Systems to be enhanced to support the UK Government's NaPTAN 2.1 standard for public transport bus stop data. Enhancements will include support for import and export to the new standard along with system enhancements to the StopManager module of the widely used TrackBuilder tool to make management of the data easier and compliant with the new standard. The StopManager system is built around the concept that a GIS electronic map should be the basis for any form of location based asset management. Manipulation of the data on the map for viewing, filtering and relocating are key aspects of the system that has been used by UK Local Authorities since 2000.
