Oklahoma City, Des Moines and Del Rio Select Trapeze

Integrated software will help manage transportation services

October 20, 2003 (SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Trapeze Software announced today it has been awarded three new contracts to provide fixed route transportation software for agencies in Oklahoma City, OK and Des Moines, IA along with paratransit software for use in Del Rio, TX.

Metro Transit, a division of the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority will use Trapeze FX for advanced fixed route scheduling, rostering, route definition, trip building and blocking. The agency will also use Trapeze OPS for transit operations management, and Trapeze INFO for its agent-attended call center. Metro Transit has been using Trapeze PASS since 1997 for demand response scheduling, routing and dispatching.

MTA in Des Moines will use Trapeze FX for fully automated scheduling, routing, trip building, and blocking and Trapeze Blockbuster for advanced runcutting. With a fleet of 90 buses, the MTA fixed routes services cover 15,000 miles throughout the cities of Des Moines, West Des Moines, Clive, Urbandale, and Windsor Heights.

The City of Del Rio Transportation Departmentwill use Trapeze PASS for demand response services in Del Rio, Val Verde County and weekly medical trips to San Antonio, Eagle Pass and Uvdale. Trapeze PASS will provide Del Rio with automated scheduling, booking, and management tools to provide efficient demand response service.
