Trapeze Launches User Certification Program
Certification now available for core paratransit and fixed route products
JUNE 10, 2003 (MISSISSAUGA, ON,) – Trapeze Software announced today it has launched a new certification program for users of its fixed route and paratransit applications.
Transportation professionals who work with the company’s fixed route and paratransit software can become Certified Trapeze Users by passing an online examination that demonstrates proficiency with the basic features of the application.
More than 25 Trapeze users earned their certification at the company’s recent User Conference in Tempe, AZ. One of the first to qualify was Patrick Sampson, a Transportation Analyst with Orange County Transportation Authority. “By establishing benchmarks, Trapeze has given the industry an additional tool. Employers can feel confident that people with a Trapeze certification have met a certain level of training and understanding,” he says. “Certification is also an asset for the user. Being able to provide proof of a certain level of competency supports added employee value.”
Users can register with Trapeze Customer Care for access to the online test to become certified. The company also plans to add an advanced certification level later this year. The advanced level will require users to demonstrate a detailed understanding of the software and the systems it runs on.
