Redmond City School District Selects Trapeze
District will use MapNet software for transport operations
July 9, 2002 (SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA) - Trapeze Software today announced it has been awarded a contract by Redmond City School District, Redmond, OR to provide software for the district’s routing, scheduling, fleet maintenance and web service operations.
Redmond City will use Trapeze MapNet 3.0, to manage transportation for the district’s six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. The district has also purchased MapNet Web, for publishing transport and other school data on its web site.
“We’re really delighted that Redmond City has chosen Trapeze for a complete integrated software solution,” said Rob Dukes, Vice-President of Trapeze Software Group. “This is a rural district with a large number of students transported on a daily basis, and we look forward to helping them improve their service and efficiency.”
Redmond City School District covers 556 square miles and transports 2,500 students each day. The district’s web site can be accessed at www.redmond.k12.or.us.
