Junior Test Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual wanting to develop a career in production/electronic engineering. You should be keen to join a very small team with varied work. After an initial training period, you will be expected to understand Trapeze products down to board and component level, test and diagnose faults and make necessary repairs.

• Assembly and testing of components, sub-assemblies and products
• Accumulating and recording all test data
• Communicating status of products and resolution of faults to colleagues
• Working to quality policy and procedures

Essential skills
• Completed or willing and able to start a technical BTEC qualification
• Confident manner and a willingness and ability to learn new skills
• Enthusiastic, friendly and approachable, with a flexible, “can do” attitude
• Methodical approach to testing and configuration of customer equipment
• Enjoy troubleshooting and helping others
• Resourceful personality
• Basic IT, numeracy and communication skills

Desirable skills
• GCSE’s/A level or equivalent in science, maths or engineering.
• No previous experience is required, however knowledge of electronic components and test environments is desirable.
• Ability to follow circuit diagrams, work instructions and test procedures
• Ability to document work and accurately record test results
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Soldering/wiring skills
• Enquiring mind, enjoys experimenting with electronic designs

Administrator

This role will be based at our head office in the village of Staverton.

Proficient in Word and Excel with excellent communication and numeracy skills, you will have some experience in a busy administrative role, a keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure and an excellent telephone manner. Working in the customer care team key activities will include administration associated with client correspondence and logging data via a ticketing system.

Customer Care Representative

This role will be based at our head office in the village of Staverton.

Do you have previous customer service experience and enjoy talking to customers?
With previous experience in a dynamic customer focused environment you want the opportunity to develop your existing skills or may be looking for exposure in a technical environment. Key activities include call taking and logging, validating support requests and liaising with technical support staff to assist in resolving client queries.

Technical Support Specialist

This role will be based at our Manchester office.

Working in a dynamic customer focused environment you will provide technical application support to clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience providing application, database and network support to client maintained and hosted environments. Knowledge of SQL essential. Knowledge of the passenger transport industry an advantage.

ICT Technician

The successful candidate will handle a variety of activities within a lively team, assisting in the installation and configuration of computing hardware and software and providing technical support and problem resolution for customers and staff.

Skills: Good working knowledge of PC support and troubleshooting techniques, commercial experience of supporting Windows platforms, including Server O/S essential.  Experience with MS SQL, IBM Domino and Lotus Notes, Citrix and Vmware, networking and routing concepts an advantage.  Qualified to HNC/HND level.
